During your basic training, you will learn the importance of the stock and transport departments within VEKA AG. You will work in the goods inward department, you will check the accuracy of deliveries and the pertaining accompanying documents.
The goods received must be entered and stocked in a professional way using EDP inventory management systems. You will also learn to check stock and to handle devices to transport, deliver and pack goods. Together with your colleagues you will load and pack the goods according to a pre-planned loading scheme. It will be an advantage if you are flexible and enjoy contact with other team members, customers and shippers.
Possible professional aims:
Once training is completed, the skilled worker for inventory management becomes a stock specialist. If you show the right commitment and have the appropriate technical qualification, you could assume more responsibility at a later date, for example as a shift supervisor.
