If you use ready-made roller shutter housings, the windows, shutters and housings form a harmonious integrated package which can be completely mounted easily and quickly. The housings and the shutter profiles are made of high-quality, impact-resistant and weatherproof, synthetic material ensuring a high degree of stability and torsional rigidity. The single profiles are equipped with metal reinforcements resulting in additional protection against burglaries.
The roller shutter housings can be manufactured in all the colours and finishes available from VEKA. The roller shutter slats are available in a selection of appealing colours.

Recently included in the range is the VEKA roller shutter housing with low maintenance flap allowing maintenance activities to be carried out quickly and easily and avoiding damage to wallpaper or plaster. A special insulating material made of polyurethane foam ensures compliance with the insulating values required by the Energieeinsparverordnung (EnEV) [The German Energy Savings Regulation]. The housing can be mounted on top of plaster or can be plastered over once the relevant base material had been applied.
